BIOGRAPHY
Seamus Gillen spent many years working in Whitehall, and was Private Secretary and adviser to John Prescott MP, Deputy Prime Minister, and John Gummer MP, Secretary of State for the Environment. He moved into industry as the Company Secretary and Director of Regulation of Anglian Water (later AWG) and was subsequently Head of Public Policy at mmO2.
Seamus left to set up his own company advising businesses on strategic disclosure, reputational risk and corporate responsibility, and advises AllenbridgeEpic on governance and public policy issues. He is an MBA and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Marisol Hernandez is currently doing a PhD in Economics with a focus on financial literacy, SRI and risk management. She also holds an MSc in Financial Engineering, a BSc in Industrial Engineering and is a Hedge Fund Analyst with Allenbridge Ltd.
Prior to joining Allenbridge, Marisol worked as an Assistant Consultant for PKF (UK) LLP and, before that, gained experience working as a Research Analyst for a Colombian pension fund.

Philip Ingman FRICS MSI is founder of Ingman Capital Partners Ltd (previously Ingman Jones LLP). Prior to setting up his own business he was Chief Executive of Strutt & Parker Real Estate Financial Services Ltd and, previous to that, was CIO of SPP, the Swedish pension fund, where he helped set up the fund management division, Celexa. During the 1990s Celexa was one of the best performing real estate asset managers with consistently good performance. Ingman Capital Partners provides independent advice on all kinds of property backed investment to institutional, professional and high net worth clients.
Philip is Honorary Treasurer of the Investment Property Forum and is a Faculty Board member for the IPF Investment Education Program and represents the RICS in relation to REITS and PAIFs. He is a regular speaker at conferences on indirect investments and private client needs.
BIOGRAPHY
Ray has over 37 years of financial and investment experience and has been involved in private equity and venture capital since the early 1980s. He is currently Founder and a Director of Acrostic Limited, a boutique advisory firm; is also Chairman of Core VCT IV, which provides mezzanine finance to UK-based SMEs; is Chairman of PEFOX (a derivatives exchange for private equity funds); and is a consultant to Invesco Private Capital Inc. He also sits on a number of Advisory Boards including Eden Ventures in the UK, Argus in the CEE and Veritas in Israel.
Previously, Ray was a strategy adviser to BTG plc as well as serving on the board of one of its investee companies - Mesophotonics Limited. He was also a partner of Invesco and a General Partner and Managing Director of the New York based private equity group Invesco Private Capital (IPC) from 1997 to 2005 where he was responsible for all private equity investments and marketing outside of the Americas.
Ray holds an MBA specialising in Finance and is a member of the Securities Institute. He is an active speaker at private equity conferences.
BIOGRAPHY
Trevor Robinson’s entire business career has been spent in the derivatives markets. Having worked as a stockbroker, he was appointed Head of Derivatives at Scottish Provident, Edinburgh, in 1987. Three years later he became Head of Derivatives and a Director of Fidelity International, where he was responsible for all derivatives transactions, covering equities, bonds and currencies. Trevor has helped UK regulators design and implement rules on how derivatives should be used in unit trusts and insurance funds. He has also served on the Institutional Advisory Group of LIFFE and on committees for the Securities Institute and the UK Futures and Options Association.
In 1994, Trevor set up his own company which specialises in advising institutional investors on the sensible and appropriate use of derivatives in their investment portfolios, in particular their proper control. He authored a booklet entitled ‘Equity Derivatives Made Simple’ for the NAPF and also advises on alternative investments such as hedge funds.

James Walton is the founder of South 40 Group, a real estate fund advisory and private placement company. He currently advises six real estate Fund of Funds with both global and country specific mandates, has extensive experience of fund due diligence and has delivered results to some of the most trusted and best performing companies in real estate fund management. In particular, he has over 12 years of experience in real estate private equity and research having worked for Jones Lang LaSalle, Fidelity Investments, Healey & Baker Investment Managers, Patron Capital Partners and Dawnay Day.
James is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and The London School of Economics (LSE). He is also a member of the Investment Property Forum (IPF), the Society of Property Researchers (SPR), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (previously the CMSA) and is the President of the LSE’s Global Real Estate Group (a global special interest alumni group, www.lsegreg.com).
